Cultural and urged council to keep the Cypress Fire Station. <br />Ana Usura thanked council on behalf of graduates, spoke on housing, food and work. <br />Urges that the city's budget and the Revive Santa Ana Funds provide investments towards <br />long-term solutions to rebuild from the pandemic that include community -owned led <br />strategies around housing, food and economic development. <br />Linda Kraemer spoke in support of Item 26 in order to reduce emissions. <br />Gerson Munoz member of Orange County Congregation Community Church (OCCCO) <br />spoke in support of Item 20 and hopes that council along with Congressman Lou <br />Correa attend the ceremony. Expressed support of an economic stimulus for Santa Ana <br />residents. <br />Blanca Rue/as member OCCCO expressed thanks to Public Works Agency staff and the <br />community for their efforts on installations to reduce traffic in her community and hopes <br />that council can attend the ceremony after completion of the project. <br />Dr. Kathleen Treseder from UCI spoke in support of Item 26 and provided input on climate <br />control. <br />Alejandro with Orange County Sunrise spoke in support of Item 26 and Item 25. <br />Erica Gonzalez spoke in support of Item 26 to create a climate control health resolution. <br />Connor Medina with Orange County Business Council requested that Item 26 be tabled to <br />a future council meeting after community outreach and economic analysis is done. <br />Rain Song spoke in support of Item 24 for the Immigrant Defense Fund, and Item 26. In <br />addition, spoke regarding the COVID Relief Bill, and against homeless encampment <br />removal. <br />Luis Sarmiento spoke out against homeless encampment removal. Spoke on Item 24, <br />noted that responses to the needs that are seen in Santa Ana should be guided by those <br />that are directly impacted with the lived experiences to ensure that public funds are spent <br />responsibly and effectively. In addition, provided comments to be considered as part of the <br />Revive Santa Ana survey. <br />Elizabeth Martinez, coordinator with Corazon Maria spoke on Item 20 and the need for <br />medical assistance. <br />Tim Rush spoke in opposition of Item 26 and requested the item tabled to allow for <br />additional input from various stakeholders.
