David Moritz, PAS <br />Survey Lead <br />Dave Moritz has 31 years of experience in the survey industry, specializing <br />in right-of-way engineering, utility mapping and large scale infrastructure <br />projects. He has spent a large portion of his career working in client offices to <br />provide program management, project management and staff augmentation <br />services. He has developed survey programs that support large right-of-way <br />acquisition and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) projects. <br />REGISTRATION <br />As leader of the Orange County survey team, he is responsible for project <br />1997/CA/Professional Land <br />planning and coordinating work among in-house staff, clients and <br />Surveyor/738e <br />subconsultants. He serves as client liaison, attends coordination and kickoff <br />meetings, and is the primary contact person on various contracts. Dave is <br />EDUCATION <br />also involved in the coordination and oversight of work among clients, title <br />1993/BS/Civil Engineering/ <br />California State Polytechnic <br />companies, project surveyors and CAD staff, as well as in-house civil engineers. <br />University, Pomona <br />Dave has worked in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, <br />Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Kern counties. <br />EXPERIENCE <br />With Psomas for 28 years; <br />Experience <br />with other firms for 3 years <br />Metropolitan Water District - Inland Feeder Riverside Pipeline South <br />- Riverside County, CA: Survey Manager for construction surveying services <br />for the Eastside Reservoir project consisting of approximately 7 miles of 145 <br />1/2-inch diameter steel pipeline and concrete transition structure to and from <br />the San Diego Canal. Work also included the demolition of two stilling wells and <br />the construction of one new one, review of construction drawings, primary and <br />secondary horizontal and vertical control based on the state plane coordinate <br />system, right-of-way layout, pipeline layout at grade and in the trench and as - <br />built drawings where required. <br />Citywide Sanitary Sewer System Repair and Rehabilitation Program - <br />Anaheim, CA: Survey Technician to provide sewer repair and rehabilitation <br />project services for the City. Sixty-one (61) sewer segments were included in <br />this phase and services included evaluating the conditions using GIS atlas map <br />sheets and adding utility information, recommending rehabilitation methods, <br />and designing and providing construction support for the projects under this <br />phase of the program. <br />Chemical Terminal Monitoring Wells Survey - Carson, CA: Project <br />Manager for surveying over 1,500 wells, borings, and other monitoring devices <br />at the 450-acre terminal, as well as the surrounding areas where off -site <br />monitoring wells were installed. <br />Questar Pipeline 29 Palms to Essex - Riverside and San Bernardino <br />Counties, CA: Project Manager for survey services including survey control, <br />right-of-way support, pre -construction staking and right-of-way layout, <br />pipeline repair and valve replacement as -built surveys, north and south <br />connector as -built surveys, preparation of record as -built drawings of the 115 <br />mile alignment, in support of a 115 mile, 16-inch pipeline repair project across <br />portions of San Bernardino and Riverside counties. <br />
