TA|T&Assmc|a'es inc, <br />On -Call Water Resources Engineering Services <br />TAIT will conduct field survey and prepare the base mapping per RFP requirementsutilizing our in-house <br />surveying services. Per the RFPrequirements, the pricing for surveying services has been included ata <br />prevailing wage rate. The scope of Field Surveying includes: <br />Design Field Surve <br />Upon issuance nfNTP,TA[Tsurvey will conduct afield control and topographic omn/eya1euch <br />project location in order toobtain the required topographic e|ements. <br />Project Base Mal2ping <br />As part of this contract, TAIT will prepare the following base mapping for incorporation in the <br />project design: <br />w Topographic <br />° Right ofway <br />• Existing Utility <br />It is assumed that the City will provide TAIT with any available GIS and record base maps forthe <br />project limits (Right ofWay & Utility) tuaid inthe preparation ofthe base maps. TA|TvviU <br />format and update the base mapping with the noted existing records and all other applicable <br />existing improvements (loops, signal equipment, striping, legends, etc.). |tiaanticipated that <br />right qfway base mapping will beper record documents only, and that the City will provide all <br />available right of way and property records to TAIT at the design kickoff meeting. <br />Upon completion mfthe base mapping activities, TA|Twill convert the topographic survey and <br />aerial survey base mapping to the required GIS shapefile format and will input available <br />metaclata for the utility facilities which were observed and found during the records research. <br />All data will be exported per the RFP requirements and submitted to the City via FTP server <br />transfer. <br />Deliverables: <br />/ Field Survey Data <br />~ CAD Project Base Map <br />D, 1 Preliminary EiazfinAand AlLgumemt Selecttioo <br />During and upon completion of the previous tasks, TAIT will initiate the preliminary engineering analysis <br />and alignment selection task. This project includes the design and analysis ofnine separate project <br />segments. The location and proposed alignment for the water mains will be analyzed in order to <br />determine the most ideal location and path for both features.
