Unit <br />prices will bechecked against recent City projects, Work items will beprepared tucorrelate with the <br />specifications and will include all work items including mobilization, storm water compliance, traffic <br />control and striping. Each work item will have a clear measurement and payment clause in order to avoid <br />costly change orders during the construction phase. Specifications will also include clear delineation of <br />the traffic control requirements, water pollution control requirements, survey monument protection <br />and replacement requirements, and construction scheduling parameters as well as coordination <br />requirements with utilities. Utility owners, coordination and contact requirements, and additional <br />permitting requirements will also beincluded |nthe specifications. The project specifications will be <br />reviewed by the QA/QC Manager prior to each submittal per the quality assurance program, <br />The initial Specification submittal at 60% PS&E will include a single set of the Draft Technical <br />Specifications covering both bid packages that will be used to verify City format requirements.
