security guard's mobile phone number must be made available to City staff to ensure that the <br />security guard is immediately alerted of incidents requiring their assistance. <br />Electronic Patrol Equipment <br />The Contractor shall provide complete electronic security guard personnel monitoring system, <br />which is able to track, and monitor security personnel in real time indoors, and outdoors. It must <br />combine GPS and RFID functionality, enabling security personnel to scan interior and exterior <br />checkpoint tags, as well as facilitate real time location reports. The electronic system must be <br />able to provide reports identifying, but not limited to, security guard identification, missed <br />checkpoints, types of incidents (i.e., doors left unlocked, suspicious activity, etc.) and a security <br />patrol summary. <br />Substitutions may be proposed and will be evaluated as to whether they meet the City's <br />requirements. <br />Information shall be accessible for the City to review. Any and all reports prepared during the <br />term of the contract shall become property of the City. <br />It is the Contractors responsibility to replace missing or damaged checkpoint tags, within twenty- <br />four (24) hours, at no cost to the City. <br />Incident Reports <br />Security guards shall provide, preferably via email, detailed incident reports in a timely manner to <br />City facility site management. <br />Responding and Reporting <br />In the event of the breach of City property, the Contractor will be instructed to contact their home <br />base, who will contact authorities and designated City staff for each facility. Contractors will not <br />place themselves in danger by confronting dangerous individuals. <br />Uniforms and Eauipment <br />Contractor shall provide uniforms to employees assigned to work on the contract at no additional <br />expense to those employees and/or the City. Uniforms shall include winter jackets and rain gear. <br />Uniforms shall bear a patch identifying the Contractor. Uniform must be clean and ironed and <br />worn in a meticulous and professional manner. Garments worn to adjust to the climate (jackets, <br />coats, etc.) must not hide the security guard markings of the uniform. Uniforms are subject to <br />City approval. Pictures of Contractor uniforms are to accompany Contractors RFP response. All <br />hardware, software, uniforms, materials, equipment, and vehicles necessary to satisfactorily <br />perform security guard service in accordance to this Solicitation shall be provided by the <br />Contractor including, but not limited to: flashlights, whistle, clip boards, log books, two-way hand <br />held radio, mobile phone, etc. <br />Appearance and Grooming <br />Assigned personnel shall arrive at work well groomed, in a professional manner, and in the <br />appropriate uniform of the company. Uniform must include badge, company designation patch, <br />nametag and required communication equipment.
