On -Call Engineering Services RFP No. 23-030 <br />Dates: 2016 — 2022 <br />City of Santa Monica, Lincoln Neighborhood Corridor Streetscave Proiect (UNC). Santa Monica. CA <br />Kimley-Horn provided plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E) to the Lincoln Neighborhood <br />Corridor (UNC), which transformed an aging commuter corridor into an attractive, pedestrian -oriented <br />environment with enhanced multi -modal function. Our team provided roadway design for over 70 curb <br />ramps with each ramp presenting constraints such as building entrances, narrow sidewalks, driveways, <br />steep side streets ,new medians, replacement of damaged sidewalk, curb, gutter, and cross -gutter. <br />Project included streetscape design and services to enhance the quality of the pedestrian environment, <br />improve mobility for users through right-of-way enhancements, and increase safety for roadway users. <br />Deliverables included a preliminary design concept, low impact development (LID) fe-,,hnical <br />memorandum; 60%, 100%, and final plans for street improvement, traffic controls, striping and signing, <br />landscape and irrigation, gateway elements, pedestrian safety lighting, and technical specifications. <br />Key Staff: Darren Adrian, Othman Elmezain and Jason Melchor <br />Client: Curtis Castle, City of Santa Monica 1 310.458.8721 1 curtis.castlena smgov.net <br />Dates: 2018 — 2020 <br />San Bernardino County, Valley Boulevard and Other Roads Proiect, San Bernardino County CA <br />Kimley-Horn provided San Bernardino County with engineering design services to improve pavement <br />conditions and upgrade several ADA Curb ramps along Valley Boulevard, Cedar Avenue and Slover <br />Avenue within the Bloomington Area. Our services included the design of pavement replacement, <br />pulverization and overlays according to geotechnical recommendations, and miscellaneous concrete <br />improvements where adjacent improvements were affected.
