On -Call Engineering Services RFP No. 23-030OF ro7 along the design street approaches. We will provide a Queueing Summary Memorandum to document the results. Task 13 — Signing and Striping Plans Kimley-Horn will prepare signing and striping plans within project limits. The signing and striping plan will be prepared with current City of Santa Ana and Caltrans standards, and will be prepared at scale of V _ 40' using MicroStation V8i version drafting software on a 24" x 36", full-size sheet. Task 14 — Traffic Signal Modification Plans Kimley-Horn will prepare a traffic signal modification plan at the project intersection. Plans at a minimum will show pole schedule, conductor schedule, phase diagram, pole location detail, general notes, and construction notes. The traffic signal modification plan will be prepared in accordance with current City of Santa Ana and Caltrans standards and will be prepared at a scale of 1" = 20' on a 24" x 36", full- size sheet using MicroStation V8i version drafting software. Task 15 — Street Light and Electrical Plans Kimley-Horn will prepare street light plans within project limits. We will conduct voltage drop calculations to determine the wiring sizes. We anticipate we will need to connect to existing service locations along the corridor. New service point locations may be necessary. Coordination with Southern California Edison to determine new and existing service points to be used will be a part of this task. We will provide a photometric analysis to determine required illumination for the corridor. The street light plans will be prepared on at a scale of 1" = 20' horizontal on 24" x 36" full-size sheets. Decorative street lighting fixtures are excluded from this scope of services. Task 16 — Landscape and Irrigation Plans The Kimley-Horn team will prepare landscape and irrigation plans for the proposed medians, parkways, and open spaces within the project limits. These plans will be consistent with the City's Standards and General Plan; the City's Scenic Corridor Elements; the City's Urban Design Elements; and California's Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance. The plans will consider City maintenance when developing the design. We also will provide landscape design for private property landscaped areas impacted by street improvements. Landscape and irrigation plans will be prepared at a scale of 1" = 20' horizontal. Task 17 — Opinion of Probable Construction Cost Kimley-Horn will prepare an opinion of probable construction cost, using Microsoft Excel, for verification of project budget and assistance during the contractor's bidding process. Measurement of units will be contained in the specifications with additional detail for lump sum items as necessary. Unit prices will be derived from current bid information on similar work within the area. Backup information will be submitted along with the estimate if requested for City record and concurrence.
