For financial aid <br />eligibility and disbursements, the school uses the <br />system of clock hour to credit hour conversion <br />established by the US, Department of Education. One <br />credit Is equal to 30 clock hours, <br />Measure of Program Duration <br />The ending date or graduation date from a program is a <br />"scheduled" graduation date. In-service days, holidays, <br />and other unscheduled events that could cause <br />interruptions in scheduled training may influence the <br />actual calendar Length of a program, <br />Withdrawal Policy <br />Student -Initiated Withdrawal <br />Effective:04/21/2023 <br />Students who wish to withdraw may do so by <br />contacting the Academic Dean or Program Director via <br />telephone, mail, or preferably In person. The withdrawal <br />date will be the student's last date of attendance. A <br />student who withdraws during the first seven calendar <br />days of a grading period will not have that course(s) <br />recorded on his or her transcript. A student who <br />withdraws after the first seven calendar days of a <br />grading period will receive a grade of "W". This is not <br />calculated in his or her cumulative grade point average <br />(CGPA). The credits will count toward attempted credits. <br />The student will be provided with exit interview forms. <br />There are financial and/or financial aid implications for <br />withdrawing. Please consult with the Financial Aid and/ <br />or Business Office to determine how withdrawal will <br />impact your student account. <br />Withdrawal for Violation of School <br />Poky <br />The school may withdraw a student from his or her <br />program of study for violation of published school <br />policy. If a student withdraws from school without <br />notifying the school, the withdrawal will be effective <br />from the last date of attendance, If the student is <br />withdrawn for violation of published school policy, the <br />withdrawal date will be the last date of attendance. <br />A student who has been withdrawn during the first <br />seven calendar days of a grading period will not have <br />that course(s) recorded on his or her transcript. A <br />student who has been withdrawn after the first seven <br />calendar days of a grading period will receive a grade <br />of "W;' which is not calculated in his or her cumulative <br />grade point average (CGPA). The credits will count <br />toward attempted credits, <br />Course Drop/Add Polite <br />The Drop/Add period for each term is 7 calendar days. <br />A student who does not attend a course or whose last <br />date of attendance (LDA) in a course is within the Drop/ <br />Add period may be voluntarily or involuntarily <br />withdrawn from the course without academic or <br />financial penalty. A student who does not post any <br />attendance in a course in the first 14 calendar days after <br />the start of the term will be unregistered from the <br />course and not receive a grade for the course, <br />Course Withdrawal Policv <br />Effective: 04/21/2023 <br />A student withdrawing or being withdrawn from a <br />course who has posted attendance after the Drop/Add <br />period will receive a grade of "W', Withdrawing from a <br />course may impact a student's eligibility for Financial <br />Aid. Please speak with a Financial Aid Representative to <br />discuss your individual account. <br />Program Changes <br />A student who wishes to change programs may do so <br />at any time prior to starting classes. A student changing <br />programs after starting classes will be evaluated <br />according to the school's refund policy, <br />Program Monitoring <br />Concorde makes critical comparisons between the <br />content of its programs and the needs and demands of <br />business and industry by monitoring feedback from <br />local agencies, the program advisory committee, test <br />results, graduates, and employers. The instructors <br />communicate closely with industry personnel to keep <br />program objectives and content current. <br />Dress Code <br />Effective date: 08/01/2022 <br />Students are preparing for careers and should develop <br />the habit of wearing appropriate attire. Students are <br />required to wear the designated school uniform in class <br />and on externship or clinical experience unless directed <br />otherwise, Clinical/externship sites may require <br />students to wear white shoes. Students are responsible <br />for meeting dress code requirements for the site. <br />A student's personal appearance must be appropriate <br />at all times when the student is in school uniform.
