Notice Concerning <br />Transferability of Credits and <br />Credentials Earned at Our <br />Institution <br />The transferability of credits you earn at Concorde <br />Career College is at the complete discretion of an <br />institution to which you may seek to transfer. <br />Acceptance of any certificate, diploma or degree you <br />earn at Concorde is also at the complete discretion of <br />the Institution to which you may seek to transfer. If the <br />credits or certificate, diploma, or degree that you earn <br />at this Institution are not accepted at the institution to <br />which you seek to transfer, you may be required to <br />repeat some or all of your coursework at that institution. <br />For this reason, you should make certain that your <br />attendance at this Institution will meet your educational <br />goals. This may include contacting an institution to <br />which you may seek to transfer after attending <br />Concorde Career College to determine if your credits or <br />certificate, diploma, or degree will transfer. <br />Transfer of Credit to Concorde <br />Effective: 07/05/2022 <br />Students who formerly attended a postsecondary <br />institution accredited by an agency as recognized by <br />the U.S. Department of Education may be granted <br />transfer credit for equivalent courses taken at the <br />previous institution. Students must submit a Request for <br />Transfer Credit as soon as possible after being enrolled <br />at Concorde, in addition, students are responsible for <br />having official transcript(s) from their previous institution <br />forwarded to Concorde. To be eligible for transfer credit <br />consideration, the following must be met. <br />An official copy of the students transcript is on file <br />with Concorde; <br />Non -General Education courses were completed <br />within the previous 12 months, and a grade of "B" <br />or better was earned; <br />For VN programs, non -general education <br />courses were completed within the previous <br />5 years, and a grade of "B" or better was <br />earned; <br />General Education courses were completed within <br />the last five years, and a grade of "B" or better was <br />received; <br />A copy of the catalog containing the course <br />description, which the student enrolled under, is <br />provided; and <br />CLEP courses may be accepted if completed <br />within the five years and have a minimum score of <br />60. <br />AP scores may be accepted if: <br />The official College Board Assessment is <br />received <br />The Assessment scores are within five years <br />of the request to transfer <br />The following scores are achieved; <br />• CHEM1310 (3 credits) Score of 3 or <br />higher: Chemistry <br />• CHEM1411(3 credits) Score of 3 or <br />higher: Chemistry <br />• CHEM1421(3 credits) Score of 3 or <br />higher: Chemistry <br />• CSCI1310 (3 credits) Score of 3 or higher: <br />Computer Science A <br />• ENGL1310 (3 credits) Score of 3 or higher: <br />English Literature and Composition or <br />English Language and Composition <br />• ENGL1320 (3 credits) Score of 3 or <br />higher: English Literature and <br />Composition or English Language and <br />Composition <br />• PSYC1310 (3 credits) Score of 3 or higher: <br />Psychology <br />• MATH1310 (3 credits) Score of 3 or <br />higher: Statistics <br />• MATH1320 (3 credits) Score of 3 or <br />higher: Statistics <br />Students requesting to transfer credit(s) must submit all <br />required documentation no less than one week prior to <br />the start of their program of study, If the Academic <br />Affairs department determines the credits are <br />acceptable for transfer, credit will be given for those <br />courses, and the student will be scheduled to take only <br />those courses needed to fulfill the requirements for <br />graduation. <br />Under no circumstances does Concorde Career <br />College grant academic credit for life experience. <br />This section does not apply to students withdrawn from <br />the same Concorde campus regardless of withdrawal <br />date, <br />Students who receive transfer credit will have the <br />program tuition charge prorated based upon the <br />remaining number of credits the student must earn in <br />order to graduate. The Business Office will make the <br />appropriate tuition adjustment. <br />Concorde does not make any representation or <br />guarantee that coursework completed at another <br />institution will transfer to Concorde. <br />Students accepted into the Vocational Nursing program <br />may be eligible for a $250 tuition credit for previously <br />completing related education within the last 5 years. <br />This includes the following courses: <br />i. Vocational or practical nursing courses completed at <br />a BVNPT approved vocational program. <br />2, Registered nursing courses completed at a BRN <br />approved RN or pre-licensure BSN program. <br />3.
