FIDDYMENT POCKET PARK, ROSEVILLE
Project Description: Verde Design developed the master plans,
construction documents and provided construction administration
services for three pocket parks in the Roseville. Pocket parks, are
small parks, accessible to the general public. The sites all include
open green space and drought tolerant planting.
Program:
F-94 (Kay Sakamoto) Park: A 1.25 acre park that includes a
children's play area, shaded seating, and a picnic zone with
a kids scooter pathway that circles and passes through. The
other amenities include a tire swing, perimeter walkways, and
additional site furnishings such as bike racks, drinking fountains,
benches, picnic tables, and security lighting.
F-95 (Beverley Bos) Park: A 1.5-acre pocket park in West
Roseville, which features two large open turf areas with drought
tolerant planters throughout.
