The current Sunshine Ordinance affects the timeline of the completion of <br />administrative development project review when an applicant fails to submit the required <br />community meeting materials. However, it does not provide a clear timeline and could <br />potentially cause inconsistencies with application review timelines delineated by state <br />law. As proposed, applicants that fail to hold community meetings within the established <br />timelines, do not provide the City with the required meeting materials, video recording, <br />or written record of the meeting, will be issued an incomplete letter and any future <br />resubmittal will not be accepted until such time that all requirements are met. <br />Noticing <br />The current Sunshine Ordinance requires mailed noticing for community meetings for <br />property owners and occupants of residential units within 1,000 feet of the subject <br />project site. The ordinance proposes to increase the community meeting and public <br />hearing noticing requirement for projects that are subject to the Sunshine Ordinance to <br />2,000 feet of the subject project site for property owners and tenants located within the <br />City boundary.
