Mr. Kai is responsible for <br />client contact, establishment of fees and schedules, project design and <br />production, overall project coordination and construction administration. <br />Mr. Kai has been with KPFF for over 7 years and has over 20 years of <br />experience in civil engineering. Mr. Kai has been involved in the design <br />of several major projects, many of which have involved critical facilities <br />that require sophisticated engineering design, and considerable client/ <br />user coordination and communications. <br />Registration Santa Ana Library Renovation I Santa Ana, CA <br />Civil Engineer: CA #C73252 Project Manager. KPFF is currently providing civil and structural <br />engineering services for the design and construction of the Santa Ana <br />Certified QSD/QSP #20166 library renovations. As currently proposed, the improvements include <br />Certified LEED AP numerous tenant improvements and modernization to various program <br />spaces within the existing library building, along with exterior upgrades <br />to the north and south entrances, new layout for the easterly courtyard, <br />in addition to new parking stalls, book mobile parking area and <br />vehicular turnaround. <br />LAX Economy Parking, ITF West I Los Angeles, CA <br />Project Manager. KPFF provided civil engineering services for the <br />LAX Economy Parking project (ITF-West) completed in 2022. Located <br />between Westchester Parkway and 96th Street, ITF-West improves <br />vehicle flow through LAX by providing a new passenger drop-off and <br />pick-up destination as well as much -needed parking capacity for LAX <br />guests. This project included a $250M 5-level, 4,700 Parking Stalls, <br />25,000-SF Security Badging Office, a "Meeter-Greeter" drop-off zone <br />and 5,000-SF Concessions area. <br />Yorba Linda Library I Yorba Linda, CA <br />Project Manager. KPFF provided civil and structural engineering services <br />for the Yorba Linda Public Library, Arts and Community Center. The <br />project cost was $28M consisting of a 50,000-SF two story library, <br />15,000-SF one story community center, and a 32,000-SF parking lot <br />with 97 stalls. <br />City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency <br />Santo Ana On -Coll Engineering Services <br />lqjff <br />
