5 <br />period, they shall not receive further compensation. <br /> <br />b. 207(k) 7/12.5 Work Schedule - Detention. Employees shall work <br />three (3) 12 hour and 30 minute workdays in one (1) seven day <br />period and four (4) 12 hour and 30 minute workdays in the next <br />seven (7) day period, or alternatively, four (4) 12 hour and 30 minute <br />workdays in the first seven (7) day period and three (3) 12 hour and <br />30 minute workdays in the following seven (7) day period. This <br />cycle shall be repeated twice each 28 day FLSA Work Period. Each <br />workday shall consist of 11 hours and 30 minutes of work and a one <br />(1) hour meal period, 30 minutes of which shall be paid and 30 <br />minutes of which shall be unpaid, for a total of 12 hours and 30 <br />minutes. During each 28 day FLSA Work Period, employees <br />assigned to the 207(k) 7/12.5 Work Schedule shall earn one (1) hour <br />of vacation time if they do not take leave without pay during that <br />Work Period. Correctional Officers will be compensated at the time <br />and a half overtime rate for all time worked in excess of their regular <br />work shift of 12.5 hours per workday. The overtime compensation <br />will apply only to actual time worked beyond the regular shift. <br /> <br />c. 207(k) 4/10.5 Work Schedule-Detention Administration. <br />Employees shall work seven (7) ten hour and 30 minute workdays <br />and one (1) ten hour workday during each two (2) week period. This <br />pattern will recur twice during the 28 day FLSA Work Period. Each <br />10 hour and 30 minute workday shall consist of 10 hours and 30 <br />minutes of work and either a 30 minute or one (1) hour unpaid meal <br />period. The 10 hour workday shall consist of 10 hours of work and <br />either a 30 minute or one (1) hour unpaid meal period. The <br />determination as to a thirty (30) minute or one (1) hour unpaid meal <br />period shall be made by the Police Chief or his designee. <br /> <br />d. 207(k) 4/10 Work Schedule. Employees shall work 16 ten hour <br />workdays in each 28 day FLSA Work Period. Each workday shall <br />consist of 10 hours of work and either a 30 minute or one (1) hour <br />unpaid meal period. The determination as to a 30 minute or one (1) <br />hour unpaid meal period shall be made by the Police Chief or his <br />designee. <br /> <br />e. 207(k) 9/80 Work Schedule. Employees shall work five (5) nine <br />hour workdays in one (1) seven (7) day period and three (3) nine <br />hour workdays and one (1) eight hour workday in the second seven <br />(7) day period, or alternatively three (3) nine hour workdays and one <br />(1) eight hour workday in the first seven (7) day span and five (5) <br />nine hour workdays in the second span. This cycle shall be repeated <br />twice each 28 day FLSA Work Period. Each nine (9) hour workday <br />shall consist of nine (9) hours of work and either a 30 minute or one <br />(1) hour unpaid meal period.
