Bidder shall include within its proposal a <br />sample incident report. <br />(9) Investigate all complaints received about the security guard(s), <br />report findings, and inform City facility or management staff of <br />remedial action(s) taken. <br />(10) Ensure that incident reports and other written documentation <br />requested are forwarded to the appropriate City management staff <br />member within the time specified. <br />5. Employee Conduct: <br />Contractor and all assigned staff members, including but not limited to guards, <br />supervisors, liaisons, and account manager, shall be held to the highest level of <br />professionalism throughout the life of any contract awarded as a result of this RFP. <br />a. Proper conduct is expected of Contractor’s personnel at all times. This <br />includes adhering to no-smoking ordinances, the City’s drug-free work <br />place policy, not using alcoholic beverages, and courteous treatment of <br />employees, clients, and visitors. <br />b. City has the right to dismiss any Contractor’s employee who does not, in <br />the County’s discretion, properly conduct himself/herself or perform quality <br />work. <br />c. Contractor and contractor’s staff shall not use cameras, camera phones, <br />computers, tablets, and/or comparable devices while on post. Recordings <br />of any kind, including photos, audio, and/or video recordings are strictly <br />prohibited. The City of Santa Ana and/or other City Offices’ shall not be <br />the subject posted on any social media sites. <br />d. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to conduct a thorough criminal <br />background check on all armed security guards assigned to any City facility <br />to ensure that no guard has a criminal record. A copy of the written <br />verification that the guard has passed the Contractor’s background checks <br />must be provided to the City Department’s Facility Manager prior to <br />assignment at the facility. <br />6. Training and Certification: <br />a. The armed security guards assigned to the City of Santa Ana City Hall and <br />SARTC shall have completed the required mandatory 40-hour skills <br />training course and elective eight-hour Certification Course in Firearms <br />Training as regulated by the State of California Bureau of Security and <br />Investigative Services (BSIS), Division 7 of Title 16 of the California Code <br />of Regulations, Article 9, Skills Training Course for Security Guards. <br />(1) Security Guard companies or agencies must provide written proof, <br />to City management or Facility Manager, of a security guard’s <br />certificate of completion (or evidence of completion of the required <br />hours as set forth in the above paragraph) of the mandatory and
