Purchase of Seven Chevrolet Passenger Vans <br />June 21, 2022 <br />Page 2 <br />2 <br />7 <br />7 <br />4 <br />Transportation Authority developed the Senior Mobility Program for the purpose of <br />improving transportation services for seniors in the region. Under this program, PRCSA <br />provides transportation services to residents 60 years of age and older for senior center <br />classes, nutrition programs, shopping, personal care, special events, and <br />social/recreation activities. Measure M2 funds received from OCTA will be used for the <br />purchase. <br />Police Department <br />The Police Department seeks to acquire two Chevrolet Express Passenger Vans for the <br />Police Athletics and Activities League (PAAL) Program. The vans will be utilized at the <br />second PAAL location. The vehicles will be used for transportation of PAAL participants <br />and staff for all program activities. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on March 9, 2022, on the City’s online bid <br />management and publication system.
