23 GROUP 4 ARCHITECTURE TAB 2 SCOPE OF SERVICES AND SCHEDULEWe will develop a Concept Design report summarizing the project scope, program, <br />and budget including: <br /> ▪Building envelope and finishes evaluation and recommendations for repair/ <br />replacement; <br /> ▪Civil and landscape evaluation of site and feasibility of new outdoor amenities and <br />parking; <br /> ▪Electrical system (utility and emergency power) capacity for current and anticipated <br />future loads, and recommendations for any needed replacements and upgrades; <br /> ▪Mechanical/ plumbing/ fire system conditions and loads, and recommendations <br />for any needed replacements and upgrades; <br /> ▪Low voltage and audio/video conditions and recommendations for upgrades; <br /> ▪Structural system assessment to determine opportunities in the building and <br />renovation and options for voluntary upgrades; <br /> ▪Geotechnical investigation to determine ground tolerances and soil conditions for <br />structural requirements for the proposed addition; and <br /> ▪ADA accessibility compliance and requirements of renovated and reconfigured <br />spaces; <br /> ▪Proposed strategies for rearranging spaces for adapting the building to support <br />the proposed program; and <br /> ▪Historic Preservation Treatment Plan description of Character-Defining Features <br />(i.e., exterior building envelope, historic windows and doors, cement plaster, and <br />interior dining room buffet and pocket doors) and treatment recommendations. <br />Task 2 Meetings and Deliverables <br /> ▪Concept (Schematic) Design report and package for refined preferred <br />conceptual design option, including drawings, narratives, and up to six (6) <br />perspective renderings <br /> ▪Conceptual project budget <br /> ▪Civil site survey <br /> ▪Geotechnical investigation and report <br /> ▪Up to four (4) PMT meetings <br /> ▪Up to three (3) community outreach events/equivalent activities (e.g., pop-up <br />surveys, community meeting) <br /> ▪One (1) focus group with Library staff <br /> ▪Up to two (2) conceptual design options <br /> ▪One (1) Technical Meeting (Planning and Building) <br /> ▪One (1) Historic Resources Commission working session <br />EXHIBIT C - PROPOSAL
