He has <br />21 years of public sector and professional consulting experience in <br />transportation planning and has been with Iteris since 2006. Sean's <br />approach to planning puts people first to ensure access and connectivity <br />rather than barriers and isolation. He is supported by Iteris' focus on to <br />bring professional planning services to his clients through a broad array of <br />knowledge, expertise, and experience. Before Iteris, Sean was the <br />Transportation Improvement Program Manager at the Boston Metropolitan <br />Planning Organization (MPO). He is the Membership Officer for the American <br />Planning Association (APA) Louisiana Chapter, and previously served on the <br />National Planning Conference Committee as the Mobile Workshop Chair for <br />the 2018 National Planning Conference in New Orleans. He is the past Chair <br />of the ASCE Louisiana Transportation and Development Institute, and <br />currently serves on the St. Tammany Parish Board of Zoning Adjustment. <br />imMr. Daly has officiated three weddings including one in an <br />airplane. <br />Project Experience <br />Freight Corridors Study, Ventura County Transportation Commission — <br />Ventura County, CA <br />Sean was the Project Manager for the Ventura County Freight Corridors <br />Study, a partnership between the Ventura County Transportation <br />Commission, the Port of Hueneme, Caltrans, and the Southern California <br />Association of Governments to identify and prioritize the most significant <br />freight corridors for safer, more efficient, and sustainable freight <br />connections. The team worked with community and industry groups and the <br />general public to refine the objectives, focus analysis efforts, and develop <br />solutions with the greatest benefit to both the County's economic <br />competitiveness and environmental health to establish a more thorough <br />understanding of the highway and rail freight corridors in Ventura County, <br />along with key related local roads, and use the knowledge to inform future <br />planning and investment decisions. The project began in 2019 and completed <br />in fall 2021. <br />CORE DISCIPLINES <br />Valley Boulevard Multimodal Transportation Improvement Project— Los <br />Transportation Planning <br />Angeles, CA <br />Mr. Daly is the Iteris project manager and traffic analysis lead for the Valley <br />Traffic Engineering &Operations <br />Boulevard Multi -Modal Transportation Improvement Protect which envisions <br />Goods Movement <br />transformative corridor improvements for all modes of transportation, <br />including auto, bus, bicycle and pedestrian activities along the corridor. With <br />AFFILIATIONS <br />this project, City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, in partnership with <br />American Planning Association <br />City Council District 14, aims to improve transit service, connectivity and <br />(APA) <br />ridership as well as increase safe access for travelers to employment centers, <br />American Society of Civil <br />educational facilities, healthcare facilities, parks and recreational centers in <br />Engineers (ASCE) <br />the area. The development of existing conditions, conceptual alternatives, <br />and alternatives analysis are part of this phase of the project. The project <br />started in Fall 2020 and is ongoing. <br />
