Ramie was responsible for project coordination and assisted with <br />management of all elements of the right of way acquisition for this project. <br />CENTENNIAL CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />City of Bakersfield I Bakersfield, CA 12013 - 2016 <br />The City of Bakersfield, in cooperation with Caltrans, is building a new east -west <br />transportation corridor for SR-58. Ramie took on a unique roll to manage an intense <br />amount of data and document needs in a compressed time frame. Ramie provided <br />coordination and preparation of over 100 acquisition and relocation documents <br />through management of the project controls department that managed the project <br />schedule, budget, quality controls procedures and production of real estate <br />documents. Ramie also provided escrow coordination assistance, for both real <br />property and business interests. <br />EXTENSIVE CALTRANS <br />EXPERIENCE I-15 Q FRENCH VALLEY PARKWAY INTERCHANGE PROJECT <br />As Project Manager, Ramie managed the right-of-way acquisition process with <br />TY Lin which involved over 20 partial acquisitions of commercial, industrial and <br />CONFIDENT LEADER OF vacant land properties. Her responsibilities including oversight of the appraisal, <br />90 acquisition, escrow and right-of-way certification process. <br />LARGE TEAMS <br />OMNITRANS sbX E STREET RAPID BUS TRANSIT PROJECT <br />Cities of San Bernardino/Loma LindaJSBCTA I San Bernardino, CA 12010 - 2013 <br />SKILLED IN BRINGING Ramie worked as the Omnitrans Right -of -Way Manager supporting Federal Transit <br />Administration (FTA) oversight of the acquisition process. The project involved <br />Ly,3 ADVERSARIES approximately 152 permanent and temporary takes and included transit planning, <br />TOGETHER public relations, architectural/engineering, environmental clearance, preliminary <br />engineering, and final design. The enhanced rapid transit service enhances bus <br />transit from California State University, San Bernardino, to the Loma Linda Medical <br />CenterNetefans Hospital along the E Street, Hospitality Lane corridor. <br />FUN FACT! <br />Ramie is originally from Eritrea, a small <br />country in East Africa. She was born <br />during the Eritrean War of Independence <br />and both of her parents were freedom <br />fighters. The Eritreans fought for <br />independence from Ethiopia for over <br />20 years. Ramie, her sister and parents <br />moved to the United States when she <br />was a young child. Ramie speaks three <br />languages and remains active within the <br />Eritrean community. <br />SR-91 HOV IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />Riverside County Transportation Commiss on Riversioe I Riverside, CA 1 2010 - <br />2(- 1 <br />Ramie served as a Senior Acquisition Agent and obtained Right of Entry Grants for <br />over 30 properties and acquisition services to over 80 properties affected by this <br />highway widening project. This included coordination with escrow, title, appraisal, <br />and environmental firms. She maintained a monthly project schedule and obtained <br />various temporary permits from commercial landowners, public agencies, BNSF <br />and Union Pacific Railroad Companies_ Preparation of certification forms for <br />various parcel groups which requires coordination with project managers and staff <br />and utility and demolition staff. <br />HWY 86 TRANSMISSION PIPELINE PROJECT - AVE 74 TO AVE 86 <br />Coachella Valley Water District I Coachella Valley CA 12010 - 2012 <br />This unique project required acquisition of tribal land to support the burial of <br />transmission lines. Ramie acquired 3 parcels of Indian Land which required <br />coordination with both Indian tribes and Bureau of Indian Affairs {BIA}. She <br />provided all acquisition services including escrow coordination and title clearance <br />for the acquired properties. <br />
