Consolidated Annual <br />September 19, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />Performance and Evaluation Report for Fiscal Year 2022-23 <br />grants during the past Fiscal Year. It also reports on the City's success in achieving the <br />five-year numeric goals and objectives that are established in the Five -Year <br />Consolidated Plan. Fiscal Year 2022-23 is the third year covered by the July 1, 2020 <br />through June 30, 2025 Consolidated Five -Year Plan. <br />The following table highlights accomplishments achieved during Fiscal Year 2022-23 <br />with funding from the CDBG, ESG, and HOME Program: <br />General Activity <br />Accomplishments <br />• Completed the Lincoln Ave. Ivy Installation Graffiti <br />Abatement project. <br />• Completed the rehabilitation of the FY 2021-22 <br />sidewalks improvements. <br />• Completed the rehabilitation of the FY 2021-22 <br />Capital Improvements <br />Heninger neighborhood street improvements. <br />• Completed the installation of new restrooms at Madison <br />Park, Memorial Park, and Cesar Chavez Campesino <br />Park. <br />• A total of 120,735 residents were assisted by the above <br />improvements. <br />Economic <br />Provided 70 small business incentive grants to small <br />Development <br />businesses that were affected by the COVID-19 <br />Pandemic. <br />• Provided funding for 20 nonprofit organizations to <br />administer 22 programs and served a total of 3,350 <br />persons. <br />• America on Track, Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana, OC <br />Children's Therapeutic Arts Center, Neutral Ground, <br />YMCA, the Delhi Center, Girls Inc., Taller San Jose, <br />and Relampago del Cielo specifically, provided youth <br />services that included tutoring, education, recreation, <br />fitness, and a classical music program and gang <br />Public Services <br />prevention. <br />• The Cambodian Family and the Delhi Center provided <br />youth and family services that included tutoring, <br />education, leadership, parent workshops, and anti - <br />bullying workshops. <br />• The Legal Aid Society of Orange County, Lutheran <br />Social Services of Southern California, and Human <br />Options provided criminal record expungement and <br />domestic violence services that included housing and <br />legal services. <br />
