CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />STREET SWEEPING SERVICES 8 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />h. Proposed Work Plan <br />Proposal shall include a statement demonstrating the firm’s understanding of the <br />Scope of Services. <br /> <br /> Additionally, proposed work plan shall include Proposers’: <br />i. Anticipated approach to performing services as specified herein, including <br />descriptions of the type(s) of equipment to be utilized in the City. <br />ii. Suggestions or special concerns the evaluation committee should take into <br />consideration (if any); <br />iii. Description of deliverables and implementation plan. Proposer shall submit a <br />general description of the deliverables, implementation plan, and timeline. <br />i. Sweeper Equipment Profile <br />Provide a detailed overview of the sweeper equipment that will specifically be used for <br />the City. Overview should include years, make, and models of sweepers; fuel type; <br />type of sweeping technology; recommended speed for residential streets when <br />sweeping; recommended speed for arterial streets when sweeping; a description of <br />components that will require regular maintenance to allow the sweeper to efficiently <br />and effectively operate; any information City staff should be aware of when reviewing <br />the equipment details. Include the number of sweepers the contractor currently has <br />staged within a sixty (60 minute) travel time from the City. <br /> <br />j. GPS Vehicle Tracking Equipment/Software Profile <br />Provide a detailed overview of the vehicle tracking equipment and software that City <br />staff will have access to in order to view real time, and archived, vehicle location, <br />speed, direction, date/time stamps, distance traveled, etc. Reporting should be able to <br />distinguish between non-sweeping travel and sweeping activity. Please provide the <br />name of the company providing the equipment and software, how the software is <br />accessed, screenshots, a web link to view more information about the proposed <br />system, and any other information the City should have in order to make an informed <br />decision. <br /> <br />k. Other Information <br />Include any other information you consider to be relevant to the proposal and will assist <br />City staff in making an informed decision. Additional optional services may be <br />provided at the discretion of the contractor <br />l. References <br />Attachment B – References shall be submitted for similar projects performed for <br />state and/or similar government clients. <br /> <br />2. Cost Proposal <br />Completed Cost Proposal Form (Attachment A) – submitted separately as described <br />in Exhibit I. Pricing shall be based on a curb mile cost as described in Exhibit I. Fee <br />must be inclusive of all costs, including but not limited to, direct and indirect costs for <br />labor, overhead, incidental supplies, travel, mileage, and fuel. Pricing instructions <br />should be clearly defined to ensure fees proposed can be compared and evaluated. <br />Cost Proposal must include a payment schedule if applicable. City reserves the right
