The unlawful manufacture, <br />distribution, dispensing, possession or use of illegal drugs by students is prohibited <br />and will result in expulsion from the program. <br />Emergency Response <br />If a student falls ill or is injured during the course of class and is unable to <br />determine their own level of care, UYOA's staff will contact the student's <br />emergency contact and 911 for emergency assistance. <br />General Procedures <br />Academic Support <br />Every effort will be made to ensure the successful completion of the <br />Apprenticeship Program by all students. Instructors and administrators are <br />committed to providing instruction and customer service that promotes high <br />academic achievement and success in the field of Cyber Security Support <br />Technician. United Youth of America also maintains contact with its alums and <br />offers tools to encourage and support a stable and productive career. <br />Refund Policy for Workforce Continuing Education Services <br />The refund policy for Workforce Continuing Education courses, as established by <br />the United Youth of America, Inc, allows a 75 percent refund after the respective <br />class begins, upon the request of the student if the student officially withdraws <br />from the class prior to or on the one day of the class. (Note: The 75 percent point <br />of a class can be the first hour of the class depending on the scheduled hours of the <br />class). <br />A 100 percent refund shall be made if the student officially withdraws prior to the <br />first day of the course. Also, a student is eligible for a 100 percent refund if the <br />class in which the student is officially registered is cancelled due to insufficient <br />enrollment. <br />Publication 01/01/2021 <br />
