A-32 <br /> <br />ELEMENT REF # EJ IMPLEMENTATION ACTION AGENCY TIME <br />FRAME 2023 UPDATE <br />Economic <br />Prosperity <br />4.2 No Business outreach. Conduct a monthly <br />business breakfast workshop with a <br />different sector of the local economy or <br />a different geographic area each month <br />in order for elected officials and senior <br />staff to keep businesses apprised of <br />what Santa Ana is doing for economic <br />development and to hear directly from <br />local businesses about the advantages <br />and challenges of operating a business in <br />the city. <br />CDA Ongoing Economic Development Division <br />worked with the Chamber of Commerce <br />to host two New business welcome <br />breakfast events in 2022. Over 25 <br />businesses attended each event. In <br />2023, the CDA hosted a Vietnamese <br />Business Forum after a 15-year hiatus <br />to provide business resources to the <br />Asian community. CDA attended <br />multiple Town Halls in Downtown Santa <br />Ana and several community meetings <br />throughout the City to promote <br />business services. Furthermore, CDA is <br />actively involved in new development <br />projects and assist developers or staff in <br />the finalizing of the projects. CDA also <br />participates in weekly special event <br />meetings to help promote businesses <br />resources and assist in promoting <br />events in an effort to draw additional <br />visitors from the region. <br />Historical <br />Preservation <br />1.6 No Historic resources survey. Survey all <br />City-owned historic resources to identify <br />condition, maintenance and repair <br />needs, and sources of funding for <br />upgrades. <br />PRCSA/PWA 2022 Continued the design of the Cypress <br />Fire station to restore the facility and <br />reuse it as a Police Athletic and Activity <br />League (PAAL) facility.
