A-34 <br /> <br />ELEMENT REF # EJ IMPLEMENTATION ACTION AGENCY TIME <br />FRAME 2023 UPDATE <br />Land Use 2.2 No Annual review. Prepare a general plan <br />status report annually. Review the <br />General Plan land use objectives and <br />map to ensure they continue to support <br />the community's long-term land use <br />vision. Amend the text, goals, policies, <br />and map as necessary to address new <br />concerns, legislation, and changing <br />conditions. <br />PBA Annually <br />April 1st <br />Prepared a general plan status report <br />and submitted it to state agencies by <br />the April 1st deadline. <br />Land Use 2.3 No Projections. Review and adjust <br />population assumptions and forecasts <br />annually in conjunction with the <br />Department of Finance, SCAG, and the <br />County of Orange/Center for <br />Demographic Research to adequately <br />plan for the growth of housing and jobs. <br />PBA 2022 - <br />Ongoing <br />Reviewed and adjusted population <br />assumptions and forecasts in <br />conjunction with the Department of <br />Finance, Southern California <br />Association of Governments (SCAG), <br />and the County of Orange/Center for <br />Demographic Research to adequately <br />plan for the growth of housing and jobs. <br />Land Use 2.5 No Developer outreach. Conduct an annual <br />workshop with residential, mixed-use, <br />commercial, and industrial real estate <br />developers to discuss developing <br />projects in Santa Ana; identify challenges <br />that discourage quality development in <br />the city; identify cost implications that <br />impact affordability; implement a plan to <br />address such challenges. <br />PBA/CDA 2023 & <br />Ongoing <br />The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, <br />in partnership with the City, annually <br />hosts an economic development <br />conference (GROW) designed to attract <br />investment and quality development. <br />Over 400 local industrial developers, <br />businesses, and community leaders <br />attend this important event.
