Scope of Work <br /> <br />C0 <br /> <br />Laboratory Testing <br />1. Perform laboratory tests on <br /> <br /> soil samples obtained from the exploration, <br />tentatively including moisture content, density, gradation, consolidation, shear <br />resistance, expansion, "R" values, compaction, and corrosivity tests (pH, <br />chloride content, sulfate content, and resistivity). <br />Interpret and evaluate the field and laboratory data. <br /> <br />Engineering Report <br />1. Prepare engineering report containing conclusions and recommendations on: <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />g. <br />h. <br />i. <br />j. <br /> Submit <br /> <br />Excavatability of site soils and the need for shoring. <br />Site preparation and grading requirements. <br />Acceptability of site soils for use as fill and backfill. <br />Installation of associated piping. <br />Foundation types, depths, and allowable soil bearing values. <br />Design parameters for a piled foundation, if appropriate. <br />Anticipated settlement. <br />Lateral earth pressures for reservoir wall design. <br />Liquefaction potential of site soils. <br />Groundwater levels and the need for dewatering. <br />five (5) copies of report to the City. <br /> <br />TASK NO. 6 - FINAL CONSTRUCTION PLANS <br /> <br />Construction plans will be CAD generated using Micro Station format. Plans will be clear <br />and legible with all components clearly identified. All plans will be drawn at a minimum <br />scale of 1"=20' unless otherwise approved by the City. Based on our previous experience, we <br /> <br />envision the plan set will contain the following drawings: <br />A.
