Of these five traffic signals on Bristol Street, two signals are <br />controlled and maintained by the City of Santa Ana, txvo by Costa Mesa, and one signal is <br />shared by both Santa Ana and Costa Mesa. It is assumed that peak hour turning movement <br />counts at critical intersections on these arterials will be provided by the respective agency. <br /> <br />A total of 13 signalized intersections ~vill be coordinated as part of this project. They include: <br /> <br />Intersection City <br /> <br />1. Harbor Boulevard/Macarthur Boulevard Santa Ana <br />2. Harbor Boulevard/Lake Center Drive Santa Ana <br />3. Harbor Boulevard/Sunflower Avenue Costa Mesa/Santa Ana <br />4. Harbor Boulevard/Drive~vay CostaMesa <br />5. Harbor Boulevard/South Coast Drive Costa Mesa <br />6. Fairview Street/Macarthur Boulevard Santa Ana <br />7. Fairview Street/Sunflower Avenue Costa Mesa/Santa Ana <br />8. Fairview Street/South Coast Drive Costa Mesa <br />9. Bristol Street/Macarthur Boulevard Santa Ana <br />10. Bristol Street/Callens Santa Ana <br />11. Bristol Street/Sunflower Avenue Costa Mesa/Santa Ana <br />12. Bristol Street/To~vn Center Drive Costa Mesa <br />13. Bristol Street/Anton Boulevard Costa Mesa <br /> <br />4. Main Street Signal Coordination <br /> <br />This task entails collecting field data, such as lane geometrics, link speeds and distances; <br />obtaining existing signal timing from the City's signal system; and developing, implementing <br />and fine-tuning coordination timing for a total of 12 signals on Main Street. It is assumed that <br />peak hour turning movement counts at critical intersections on this arterial xvill be provided <br />by the City. <br /> <br />Coordination timings will be developed for the intersections of Main Street at: <br /> <br />1. Chestnut Avenue <br />2. Bishop Street <br />3. Cubbon Street/Beverly Place <br />4. McFadden Avenue <br />5. Russel Avenue <br />6. Borchard Avenue <br />7. Pomona Street <br /> <br /> <br />
