Ferrous Water Pipinq. <br /> Section 1008(c) (1) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (1) Ferrous piping shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />SECTION 8216. Buildin~ SUDDlV Pipe and Hose Bibbs. <br /> Section 1009(h) is amended by changing the second paragraph to <br />read as follows: <br /> No building supply pipe shall be less than one (1) inch in <br /> size and shall continue undiminished in size to the first <br /> fixture branch. Hose bibb at the point where service enters <br /> the building may be considered as the first fixture branch. <br /> Not less than three-quarter (3/4) inch hose bibb supplied by <br /> three-quarter (3/4) inch piping shall be installed at the <br /> front and rear of all buildings which normally require water <br /> piping. <br /> <br />SECTION 8217. Liquified Petroleum Gas Appliances. <br /> Section 1214(f) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (f) Liquified petroleum gas piping shall not serve any gas <br /> appliance located in a pit or basement where heavier than air <br /> gas might collect to form a flan~able mixture. <br /> <br />CHAPTER 3 - ELECTRICAL CODE <br /> <br />SECTION 8300. Adoption of the National Electrical Code, 1962 Edition. <br /> <br /> There is hereby adopted by the City that certain code known as <br />the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE 1962, and the whole thereof, save and <br />except such portions as are hereinafter amended, of which Code not <br />less than three (3) copies have been and are on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Aha, and said Code <br />is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set forth at <br />length herein as provided for in Section 419 of the Charter of the <br />city of Santa Ana, and from the date on which this Chapter shall <br />take effect the provisions thereof, subject to the amendments <br />hereinafter set forth, shall be in effect within the City Limits, <br />and this Code shall be known as the ELECTRICAL CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA. <br /> <br />SECTION 8301. Purpose. <br /> Section 90-1(a) is amended by adding a second sentence to read <br />as follows: <br /> To accomplish this purpose, the requirements set forth herein <br /> shall be the minimum standard for electrical installations. <br /> <br />SECTION 8302.
