ORDINANCE NO. NS-1416 <br />PAGE FOUR <br /> <br />Sec. 8-718. Sa~e - non-transferability. <br /> <br /> No permit shall be transferable. A permit granted <br />to any one person, firm or corporation shall not authorize <br />any other person, firm or corporation, except an employee of <br />the permittee, to do any electric wiring. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-719. Same - temporary working permits. <br /> <br /> When, in the opinion of the director of building safety, <br />special conditions warrant, a temporary working permit may be <br />issued to allow the permittee to commence the installation of <br />electrical wiring prior to obtaining a regular electrical permit. <br />However, the temporary working permit shall be replaced by a <br />regular electrical permit before the complete rough inspection <br />can be made. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-720. Same - expiration. <br /> <br /> Every permit shall expire and become null and void <br />for any one or more of the following reasons: <br /> <br />Whenever the electric wiring authorized by a <br />permit is not commenced within sixty (60) days <br />from the date of issuance of such permit. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Whenever the electric wiring authorized by a <br />permit has been suspended, abandoned or discon- <br />tinued for a continuous period of one hundred <br />twenty (120) days. <br /> <br />Whenever the electric wiring done during any <br />continuous period of ninety (90) days amounts <br />to less than ten (10) per cent of the total <br />of the electric wiring authorized by such per- <br />mit. <br /> <br />Before rec~mmencing, proceeding with, or doing any electric wir- <br />ing authorized by but not done before expiration of any such <br />permit, a new permit shall be obtained therefor, and the fee for <br />such permit shall be the fee required for a new permit. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-721. Same - revocations and suspensions. <br /> <br /> The director of building safety may suspend or revoke <br />any electrical permit for any of the following reasons: <br /> <br />If any reason is found to exist which would have <br />been cause for denial of such permit. <br /> <br />Any material misrepresentation or falsity in the <br />application upon which said permit was issued. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />For failure to comply with the provisions of the <br />sections in this code pertaining to electricity; <br />after due notice of corrections and the time limit <br />therefor has expired; or for failure to comply <br />with other codes of this jurisdiction that may <br />be related to or appertain to the sections in <br />this code pertaining to electricity. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-722. Permit fees. <br /> <br /> Fees for the processing of permit applications, plan <br />checking, and other administrative services shall be established <br />by resolution of the city council. Such fees must be paid to <br />the Director of Building Safety for each electrical installation <br />for which a permit is required by this code. No permit shall be <br />issued unless all fees are paid in full. <br /> <br /> <br />
