Sign design standards. <br /> <br /> No permit shall be issued for any sign which would <br />conflict with standards established by resolution of the <br />city council pertaining to the colors and materials of signs <br />and adopted for the purpose of promoting signage which is <br />visually attractive and harmonious with its surroundings. <br /> <br />Sec. <br /> <br />41-1002. <br /> <br />Freestanding signs - number, <br />location, height and content <br />restrictions <br /> <br /> No permit shall be issued for a freestanding sign which <br />does not comply with the following standards: <br /> <br />(a) Number <br /> <br /> (1) No freestanding sign shall be permitted on <br />any site which does not have both public street frontage and <br />vehicular access between such street and parking facilities <br />on the site. <br /> <br /> (2) No more than one freestanding sign shall be <br />permitted for each 300 feet of street frontage. <br /> <br /> (3) No more than one freestanding sign adver- <br />tising or identifying the same business activity shall be <br />permitted on each street on which the site has frontage. <br /> <br /> <br />
