ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1811 <br />PAGE THREE <br /> <br />SECTION 5: That section 8-713 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 8-713. Same--Applications. <br /> <br /> To obtain an electrical permit, the applicant shall <br />first file an application in writing on a form furnished by the <br />Permit and Inspection Services Department for that purpose. <br />Every application shall: <br /> <br />Identify and describe the work to be covered by the <br />permit for which the application is made. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Be accompanied by two copies of plans, <br />specifications, and schedules as may be necessary, <br />and plan check fee for the purpose of plan check <br />review to determine whether the installation as <br />described will be in conformance with the <br />requirements of the sections of this code. <br /> <br /> If it is found that the installation as described will <br />conform to all legal requirements, and if the applicant has com- <br />plied with the provisions of the sections in this code a permit <br />for such installation shall be issued upon receipt of fees as <br />prescribed in section 8-722. No deviation shall be made from the <br />installation described in the permit application and approved <br />plans without the written approval of the building official. <br /> <br />SECTION 6: That section 8-714 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 8-714. Same--Annual permits~ <br /> <br /> An annual permit may be issued to any person, firm, or <br />corporation regularly employing a maintenance electrician approved <br />by the building official. The maintenance electrician may <br />install, alter, maintain, or repair electrical wiring in or on <br />buildings or premises owned or occupied by his employer and shall <br />keep a detailed record of all such work. within fifteen (15) days <br />following the end of each calendar month, the maintenance <br />electrician shall file an application accompanied by regular fees <br />and obtain an electrical permit for all electrical work <br />accomplished during the preceding month. <br /> <br /> <br />
