ORDINANCE NS-2193 <br /> <br />136 <br /> <br />C® <br /> <br />Building/site directories <br />Elevator identification and fire/life safety <br />office tenant identification signage <br />Typical door identification signage <br />Restroom and telephone ldentlflcatl n signage <br />Operation information signage <br />Electronic cinema marquee <br />Loading dock information <br />Loading dock numbers <br />Bus and taxi identification <br />Bus and taxi loading and unloading information <br />Construction barricade <br /> Fixed Guideway signage (future) <br /> <br />Physioal sign Types. <br />Physical classification of project signage will be by the <br />following categories: <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6. <br /> <br />Freestanding signs. <br />Wall/canopy signs. <br />Projecting signs. <br />Marquee signs. <br />Under canopy/window/hanging signs. <br />Major building identification. <br /> <br />General criteria. <br />The following design guidelines generally address the design <br />criteria for the sign program. <br /> <br />1. color and typography of signs will be evaluated on the <br /> basis of aesthetics and legibility rather than <br /> conformance to strict criteria. <br /> 2. intermittent lights, bare bulbs, neon, illusions of <br /> motion, or other mechanical movement are acceptable only <br /> within the interior of the project, such signage could <br /> be used with respect to the theatre, health club, or <br /> restaurants. Such signs shall not be visible from the <br /> perimeter public right-of-way or the residential <br /> development in the project. <br /> <br /> 3. Well designed pageantry systems consisting of flags and <br /> banners, festoons, flag canopies and related displays' <br /> will be permitted on the interior of the Main Street <br /> Concourse project, provided they are consistent with the <br /> overall design of the signage plan, and do not create a <br /> safety hazard and do not adversely affect adjacent land <br /> uses. <br /> <br />37 <br /> <br /> <br />
