ORDINANCE NS-2193 <br /> <br />exterior of the project so as to create a safety <br />hazard, or so as to adversely affect adjacent land <br />uses. <br /> <br />Projecting signs. <br /> <br />a. Within the interior portions of the project, such <br /> as along the Concourse, one projecting sign per <br /> pedestrian level tenant may be provided. <br /> <br />b. The project may provide any number of such signs <br /> with mixed types so long as the style of the signs <br /> area aesthetically compatible. Projecting signs <br /> shall be located no closer than 15 feet from one <br /> another. Projecting signs may be located on all <br /> stories of retail uses in the project. <br /> <br /> c. The sign face of each projecting sign shall be <br /> compatible with the scale of the space being <br /> identified. <br /> <br />d. External to the project there may be one major <br /> projecting entrance sign for each side of a <br /> pedestrian or vehicular entrance. Each such <br /> projecting entrance sign may not exceed 24 feet in <br /> vertical dimension. <br /> <br />Marquee signs. <br /> <br />The cineplex may have a major marquee sign at the <br />cineplex entrance. The marquee sign may be large enough <br />to accommodate the informational requirements of the <br />uses being identified, and may employ changeable copy. <br /> <br />signs Under Canopies And Marquees. <br /> <br />The area of any sign under a canopy or marquee shall not <br />exceed 24 square feet. Such signs shall meet all <br />minimum Building Code height clearances. <br /> <br />Major Building Identification Signs. <br /> <br />Major building identification signs need not be <br />located at the top story of a building, but should <br />be limited to the top five stories. With respect <br />to letter height, for structures within the Main <br />Street Concourse Plan area with fifteen or more <br />floors, the letters used for major building <br />identification signs will be calculated at 4 <br />inches per floor over 18 floors plus a base <br />allowance of 12 inches.
