:194 In Re Bids Water Bonds and Fire Bbnds rejects all of said bids except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for said work to the lowest reEular, responsible bidder to-wit:- To the L.A. Paving Co. at the prices specified in its pro- 9osal on file for said work to-wit: Asphalt concrete pave- merit 14 cts. per square foot, culverts $5.§0 per linsal foot. The Clerk of this Board of Trustees is hereby directed to post Notice of this Award conspicuously for five days on or near the Ohamber Door of Shim Board of Trustees, and ,leo pub lish said Notice for two days in the "gvenin~ Blade", a daily newspaper published and circulated in this Oity, and hereby designated for that purpose. Rollins & Sons bid for the $~5,000 Water Works bonds par value of said bonds, accrued interest to date of delivery, and a premium of $S45.?0. Torrance, Marshall & Cc. bid for the $~5,000 Water Works bonds par and accrued interest to date of delivery and a premium thsreover of $107.00, and for the Fire Department bonds, ~ar and accrued interest to da~e of delivery and a premium~ thereover of $45.oo.
