First In ~e Oil and Gravel In Re Inupoction Spoci fJc~ %ions of Pasadona ~n Ro Rent of ~ooden Jail Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Ma~yatt and carried, the Supt. of Streets is instructed to prepare Van Ness Ave., for oil and gravel and go ahead with the work. # On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, Vrocman Act proceedings will be started against all property owners who do not oil and gravel and have cement curb put in while the work is being done; the extra cost of the proceedings to be charged to such property. # Upon motion of Trustee Mc~hee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the matter of interviewing the P.~. RY. officials in reference to installing at least two through cars between this point and Los Angeles was left to the Bresident of the Board. # On motion of Trustee McPhee, that the City Attorney be instructed to notify property owners on both sides of gas~ First St., ~mst of the Santa Fe. R.R. tracks to the City limits to have cement curb put down at once where same is not already in, was duly seconded by Maryatt and carried. # The specifications for oil and gravel to be used on the streets was read and upon motion duly seconded and carried, referred to the City Attorney. # On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, it was decided that the Board as a whole accpm- partied by the Street Supt. City gngineer and Water Supt. go to Pasadena Saturday Dec. 4th,1915, and inspect the mSthod used there in making oiled streets. Upon moticn of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, Mr. Mason is granted permission to use the old wooden Jail building on the lot owned by the City on Sycamore to remit On motion duly seconded and carried, Approved: St., between ~nd and ~rd at the same. $1.00 per year and the Board adjourned.
