Fire Horses In Re City Stationery In Re Sidewalk and Curb South Flower St. Pound ~ast~r In Re Dr~ving Cattle through stre~t~ In Re Dip crossin~ on west 5th St. Upon motion of Tubbs, seconded by Maryatt and carried, the petitions for oil and gravelling the following streets East Fifth, Orange Ave.~ Halladay, and Minter Streets were. laid on the table. # Trustee Maryatt reported that he had looked up the fran- chise of the Pafiolo Ilsotric on Maple St., and found there should be a double track. The matter was referred to the Street ~oumittee to confer with the Oit7 Attorney. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, seconded by Maryatt, that hauled on to in the future no gravel shall be d~ Shy street without first getting consent of the Board of Trustees. Upon motion of MoP'Gel, duly seconded by Maryatt, the Oity Olork qms instructed to advertise for 85 ton8 of baled barley hay. Bids to be opened in $0 day8, and hay to be delivered f.o.b, stables, Santa Ama,scale weight. # On motion of Maryatt, duly seconded b~ NoPhoe and carried, the ~upt. of Streets was given permission to sell Junk at the ~ity Barn. # A motion by Trustee McPhoe to dispose of tho fire horses either by trade or s$11ing, was lost, and upon motion of Maryatt, seconded by Groenleaf and carried, it wac decided to turn the team over to the Street Department. On motion of Trustee Naryatt, dUly 8emended and carried, it was agreed to have tho Oity stationery made # On motion, duly seconded and carried, tho Olty Attorney was instructed to notify tho Gill letato to lay sidewalk and curb on their property fronting 150 ft. on South Flower St., within 30 days. # Upon motion of MoPheo, seconded by Tubb8 and carried, Thee. Lacy,ar., was appointed Pound Master. At the request of Mr. Lacy the Board instructed the Oity Attorney to look up the Ordinance in regard to driving cattle through the ~ity streets and if not drastic to draft one that would hold. # On motion of McPhee, that a committee be appointed to inspect dip creasings at B$~oh, Van Hess and Patton on West Fifth St., to eec what could be done to reduce the dips at thee$ oroeaing8; tho following committee
