The matter was referred <br />to the Street ~oumittee to confer with the Oit7 Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, seconded by Maryatt, that <br /> hauled on to <br />in the future no gravel shall be d~ Shy street <br /> <br />without first getting consent of the Board of Trustees. <br /> <br />Upon motion of MoP'Gel, duly seconded by Maryatt, the <br />Oity Olork qms instructed to advertise for 85 ton8 of <br />baled barley hay. Bids to be opened in $0 day8, and <br />hay to be delivered f.o.b, stables, Santa Ama,scale <br />weight. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Maryatt, duly seconded b~ NoPhoe and carried, <br />the ~upt. of Streets was given permission to sell Junk <br />at the ~ity Barn. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />A motion by Trustee McPhoe to dispose of tho fire horses <br />either by trade or s$11ing, was lost, and upon motion of <br />Maryatt, seconded by Groenleaf and carried, it wac decided <br />to turn the team over to the Street Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Naryatt, dUly 8emended and carried, <br />it was agreed to have tho Oity stationery made <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion, duly seconded and carried, tho Olty Attorney <br />was instructed to notify tho Gill letato to lay sidewalk <br />and curb on their property fronting 150 ft. on South Flower <br />St., within 30 days. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Upon motion of MoPheo, seconded by Tubb8 and carried, <br /> <br />Thee. Lacy,ar., was appointed Pound Master. <br /> <br />At the request of Mr. Lacy the Board instructed the Oity <br />Attorney to look up the Ordinance in regard to driving <br />cattle through the ~ity streets and if not drastic to <br />draft one that would hold. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of McPhee, that a committee be appointed to <br />inspect dip creasings at B$~oh, Van Hess and Patton <br />on West Fifth St., to eec what could be done to reduce <br />the dips at thee$ oroeaing8; tho following committee <br /> <br /> <br />
