In Re Gas Pipe l'n Re ~Analysis of City Water In Re City Fertilizer In Re Fireworks Lights at Birch Park In Re Ordinance No.897 Appr~___ ~ent Tthe Board of Trustees, tl~ m~nthly report to be made showing the expenses in- curred by the Department, bills for which shall be O.X.ed by the Fire Ghief,no extra payment for men on regular pay roll attending fires; the Fire ~hief to give the business of the department his full attention. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Oity Marshal is allowed the service of an office ~1 at a salary of SSO.O0 per month, and $2§.00 per month for the use of his auto ddeing police duty. # The report of Trustee Maryatt that a gas pipe sticking up over the sidewalk at the 5~uthweet corner of Walnut and Maple, was on motion dmly eeoondSd and carried, referred to Btroet Oommittee with instructions to notify the Boutharn Oountiee Gas Go., to remove same. # On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, the Oity Nealth Officer ia instructed to make an analysis of the Oity Water Supply from the deep and shallow wells . # On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Oity Olerk ia instructed to advertise for bids for the manure from the city stables and street sweep- ings. # On motion duly seconded and carried, the Oit7 Marshal is instructed to advertise that the Ordinance prohibiting the use of fire crackers or fireworks inside the Oity limits would be strictly enforced. # Trustee MoPhee reported that pro,er repairs for lights at Birch Park had been made. # Ordinance 1~o.§97 l~rtaihing to the regulation of ~arking, standinG and operating vehicles upon the streets was read and on motion laid over to take action Monday June 1915.
