On motion of Trustee Naryatt duly seconded and carried, the City a~oepted the offer from the County to furnish m oar of oil for Mabury St., from let to l?th St., City to spread same. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the contract with the Southern Calif. Edison Co., to furnish the City with street lights, was ordereiflled. President Visel was appointed on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, as a committee of oneto a~t and confer with the Orange ~ounty Auto Club in reference to placing signs on the North Main Street Bridge,one on the North side to read "Welcome" and giving speed limit allowed within the City, and one on the South side to read "Good By, Come Again". An Ordinance amending Ordinance No.299 of the City pertain- ing to the regulation of house moving and suiding two new sections thereto, was given first reading and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, referr. ed to the City Attorney. An Ordinance to be known as Section 16-A amending Ordi- nance No. 602 of the City, prohibiting solicitors for auto for hire care was given first reading and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, referred to the A motion to ~d~n to May 22,1916, carried.
