Logsdon was before the Board asking for a refund on <br /> <br />his auto for hire license, was denied on motion of Trustee <br />Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br /> <br />carried, North Flower <br />the proper approaches <br /> <br />Street le closed to the public until <br />are made for crossing Santiago Greek. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, <br />the City Attorney ia instructed to notify property owners <br />on West Walnut that the sidewalk and curb ordered in some <br />time ago by the Board, that same be done mt once or City <br />to start proceedings. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried, the auto for hire bond of C.F.Rt~iolph with the <br />Guardian Casualty and Guaranty Co., as sureties was referr- <br />ed to the President for approval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Naryatt duly seconded and carried, <br />the City a~oepted the offer from the County to furnish m <br />oar of oil for Mabury St., from let to l?th St., City to <br />spread same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, the contract with the Southern Calif. Edison Co., <br />to furnish the City with street lights, was ordereiflled. <br /> <br />President Visel was appointed on motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br />duly seconded and carried, as a committee of oneto a~t and <br />confer with the Orange ~ounty Auto Club in reference to <br />placing signs on the North Main Street Bridge,one on the <br />North side to read "Welcome" and giving speed limit allowed <br />within the City, and one on the South side to read "Good By, <br />Come Again". <br /> <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No.299 of the City pertain- <br />ing to the regulation of house moving and suiding two new <br />sections thereto, was given first reading and on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, referr. <br />ed to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />An Ordinance to be known as Section 16-A amending Ordi- <br />nance No. 602 of the City, prohibiting solicitors for auto <br />for hire care was given first reading and on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, referred to the <br /> <br /> A motion to ~d~n to May 22,1916, carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
