Tel. & Tel.Co., to sell the Oity <br /> the following poles; used by the City for carrying fire <br /> alarm wires, seven 30 ft. poles located on Ross between <br /> Hlckey and Halesworth at $2.50 each, and four 40 ft. poles <br /> on Parton between 3rd and the alley South of Second St., <br /> at $5.00 each. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br /> carried, that same be referred to a committee. <br /> <br /> The President appointing Trustees McPhee and Greenleaf as <br /> such committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br /> carried, the Southeastern California Conference Society <br /> were granted permission to erect a new kaki tent 50 X ?0 ft. <br /> on the corner of 5th and Broadway to conduct m series of <br /> revival meetings. <br /> <br />The applications of J.I.McCarter, C.B.Eing and C.C.Loftin <br />for auto for hire license accompanied by · $10,000 bonds <br />each with the Guardian Casualty and Guaranty Co, as sureties <br />were on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryat~ <br />and carried, license granted and bonds referred to the Presi <br />dent o~ the Board for approval. /' <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and carried by the following vote, Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, <br />Greenleaf, and Maryatt, Noes, Trustees McPhee and Vieel, <br /> <br /> the petition signed by some of the property owners gm <br /> <br />on Fifth St.~rom the West line of Bush to the East line of <br />Broadway, to havef~mwe~ent on said street resurfaced with a <br />2 inch asphaltu~earing surface was granted. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, <br />McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and Visel, Noes Trustees None., <br />The petition to pave Orange Ave., from Chestnut to Bishop <br />with crushed rock and oil according to the plans and speci- <br />fications under consideration by the Board, was granted and <br />Clerk instructed to advertise for bids for such pavimg, t <br /> <br />The petition of abutting property owners on Fruit St., from <br />l!ortimer to Garfield to pave said street with oil and crushe~ <br /> <br /> <br />
