97 Santa Aha, Cal. Olty Hall, Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Vlsel. Present, Trustees Tubbs, MoPhee, Greenleaf, gbsent, Trustee Maryatt. Vlsel' and the Clerk. In Re Minutes of June 19th, read and approved. In Re Permit to use Council Chamber In Re Permit to move building In Re Application for Deputy Health Inspector In Re Committee on Rooming House License In Re Rest Room In Re Jitney License In Re Monthly Reports Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, Alex. Brownridge and J.F.Kinley were granted per- mission to use the Council Chamber July ~th, 1916, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of organizing the Canadian Society. re The application of Dart & MoXlnzie to move a frame building on Garfield Street to a location on West Pine Street was grant~ on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, on the following conditions: Route to be satisfactory to the Street Supt. and the same must not be moved over that portion of Walnut Street recently paved with oil and crushed # The application of Ohas. P. Mattern for the appointment of Deputy Health O~$ee~,ugewer and Plumbing Inspector, was on moron of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried,ordered filed for future reference. The ~£rs. Oommittee a~pointed to investigate the application Of La~ra Bents for a rooming house license was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, continued to next meeting. A communication from Mrs. Lea Warren,Chairman of & commltttee for the W.C.T.U.in reference to making improvements in the Rest Room in the City H~ll building, was on motion of Trustee Green- leaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, referred to committee on Public Building~. The application of Ray Olarey for an auto for hire license aco~z- panied by a $10,0OO bond with the Casualty Co. of America aa surety, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, amd carried, license granted and bond referred to the President of the Board for approval. The monthly reports of the City Marshal, Recorder, Building Inspector and Fire Ohief, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee and oaxried,, accepted and ordered filed for future reference.
