Cai.Edison Co.,~ with voucher for <br />$173~.65, amount due the City u~der franchise tax was read <br />and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly ascended by Greenleaf <br />and carried, same was referred to ae~mmittee, President Vieel <br />appointing Trustees McPhee and Tubbs as such committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubhs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, Warrants were ordered drawn on the City Treasurer, <br />tO cover demands Nee. 1967 to 2147 inclusive. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, the following transfer was ordered made: <br /> <br />$2291.35 from Sewer Fund to the Water Fund, same being for <br />Labor paid out of Water Fund from July 1914 to July let,1916, <br /> <br />A Resolution by the Bo~rd declaring itc intention to widen a~d <br />improve a portion of Poinsettia Avenue, describing improvements <br />to be made, land to be taken for said work or improvement, <br />specifying the exterior boundaries of the district to be <br />affected or benefitted by said improvement, and to be assessed <br />to pay for damages, cost and expense thereof, was read and on <br />motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, referred <br />bank to City Attorney, and the Board to act aa & committee of <br />the whole for investigation. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> The petition signed by property owners, owning property <br /> abutting on the first alley West of Roes St., running from <br /> Nickey northerly, according to map attached, to have same <br /> graded, oiled and gravelled, property owners to pay for <br /> material, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and <br /> carried, City Engineer to give grade stakes and property owners <br /> to do the work. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe and <br />carried, City Recorder Heathman with the assistance of Presi- <br />dent Vieel, was instructed to make settlement and straighten <br />out former Recorder Wlllson'e records. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, Mrs. <br />W.B.Tedford and Mrs. P.L.Tople are re-appointed as members of <br />the Library Board. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoBhee, duly seconded by Tubbe and carrie4 <br />the City Attorney was instructed to look up the legality of <br />compelling water connections to be made on all vacant lots <br />on Streets that are to be paved beforepaving ia done. <br /> <br /> <br />
