Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees Tubbs, MoPhee, Greenleaf, City Hall, Oct. Maryatt, Vlsel Santa Aha, Cal. 2,1316. ?:30 p.m. and the Clerk. In Re Report City Electrician Minutes of Sept. 1Sth react and amended, in reference to placing a street light on ~th St. at City Limits, same being prdered placed at intersection of Walnut & Booth ets. The request of the Parent-Teachers Assoc. and Ministerial Association for permit to use the Council Chamber Wednesday Oct. 4th at 4:30 p.m., was on motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by MoPhee and carried, the request was granted. # The request of the Woodrow Wilson Club to use the Council Chamber each Friday evening until the election Nov.?th, was granted on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, and the request of the Democratic County Central committee for the use of the Council Chamber each Saturday afternoon until election was by the same motiol denied. The resignation of T N.Newman as one of the drivers of the Fire Dept. was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, accepted. # On motion of Trustee McPhse, duly seconded by Greenleaf and Co. carried, D.M.Adams representative of the Rumford Baking Powder Co., was granted permission to solicit and deliver orders for Rumford Baking Powder through the local retail grocers. The monthly reports of Building Inspector, Fire Chief, City Recorder and City Marshal were on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, accepted and ordered placed on file. The motion of Trustee Greenleaf to grant Dart and McKinzie house-movers, a permit to remove a small corrugated iron building on Spurgeon St. from the 400 block to a loc~tion one block North, received no second, the motion was lost. The report of City Electrician McCulloch in reference to the amount of J2ice furnished by the Southern Cai. Edison Co. for street lighting was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, accepted and ordered filed.
