On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carriad, t~ committee on Birch St. paving, was continued. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carrie¢ the committee report on conditions on Hlckey St.,was adopted ~ reference to having the pavement stop ~t Garnsey St., the City Engineer to give proper grade^and Street Supt. t~o-~ s~eet to g~e f,~om Gs~ W~ a~ the necessary gutters to d~ain the storm water off of ~ ~~ A petition from property owners on West 5th St., between Sycamore and Broadway, asking permission to improve that portion of said Street with a 2 inch wearing surface of asphaltum, was g~anted on motion of Trustee Greenlemf, On motion of Trustee McPhee, by the following vote, Ayes, duly seconded by Maryatt and c.arried duly seconded by Maryatt and passed Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and Vieel, Noes, Trustees None, petition to have Wes~ Tenth St. paved between Broadway and Roes, under Specifications No.82 with a zeal coat a~ded and a concrete gutter ~ ft. wide on South side between Broadway and Birch was granted. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and passed by the following vote to-wit:- Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, Greenleaf Maryatt and Visel, Noel, 2xmateea None, not voting Trustee McPh the petition to have ~a~tcmtStr$~t, from 5th to Hickey paved under Specifications 82, was granted, On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and passed by the following vote to-wit: Ayes', Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt and Visel, Noes, Trustees None, a petition from property owners on West 2nd St., from Rose to Shelton, to have said portion of Street paved under Speciflcatioz Nc.gl, was granted, On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the committee appointed in reference ~o needs of sidewalk and curb on Highland St., from Flower to Sheltcn, was continued, On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, Wells & Breeslar, were granted permission to close 10th St., fro~ the Wear line of Broadway to the East line of Ross St., and Part¢ St. from the North line of 5th St. to South line of Hickey St. for 'the purpose of constructing curb and gutters and p~tting in sewer connections preparatory to paving said portions of street with crushed rook and oil under Specifications ~2,when in the opinion of the Board the weather permits laying of pavement.
