The motion of Trustee Greenleaf that a committee be appointed in reference to investigating conditions for straightening 8amtiago Creek at North Main Street was duly seconded by Trustee Tubbs and carried, Trustees Greenleaf,Tubbe and McPhee being appointed as such committee. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Nay committee consisting of Trustees Tubbe amd authorized to purchase enough hay to tide over until new oontrant for hay is let. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs,the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids to furnish the from 60 to 1OO tons of baled barley and alfalfa hay. # The motion of Trustee Tubhs that a committee be appointed in reference to investigating the advisability of abandoning the 15 foot alley South of 2Otb St. between Bush and Spurgeon wa~ duly seconded by Trustee Greenleaf amd carried. Trustees Greenleaf and MoPhee being appointed a~ such committe Resolution No.601 ordering the City Engineer to prepare plans, profiles and cross-sections and specifications for paving alley lying between Lot 15 Witmer and Van Alstyne's Add. and Lot 5 Carpenter's Add. was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbl that same be adopted was duly seconded by Trustee Maryatt and pa~sed by the following vote Ayes,Trustees Tubbs,Oreenleaf, Maryatt and Visel, Noes Trustees None, Not voting, Trustee # Resolution No.602, a Resolution of the Board of Trustees the City of Santa Aha adopting plans, profiles and cross-sec- tions and specifications for the improvement of that certain alley of~ from loth St. and lying between Lot 15,Witmer & Van Alstyne's Addition and Lot 5 Carpenter's Addition read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf that same he adoptea was duly seconded by Trustee Tubhs and passed by the vote Ayes,Trustees Tubbs,Greenleaf,Maryatt and Visel, Noes, Trustees None,Not voting Trustee MoPhee. A Resolution of Intention of the Board of Trustees of the Oity declaring its intention to improve by the construction of concrete pavement on that certain alley lying in the City of Santa Ana off from Eamt 10th St. and lying between Lot Witmer & Van Alstyne's Addition and Lot 5 of Carpenter's Add. and taxing the cost of the same to the abutting property owns: was given first reading and on motion of Trustee Tubbe,duly seconded by Greenleaf, referred to the City Attorney.
