In Re <br /> <br />Street Repaire,°~anta Clara Ave. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Leave of Absence <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Garbage conditions <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt <br />and oa~ried, Street Supt. OSrien was instructed to <br />repair West Santa Clara Ave. by scarifying, grading <br />and rolling the same as soon ae work ia finished in <br />opening of Parton and wideiing of Walnut sra. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Marya;t <br />and carried, Charles Dean, employed in the Street <br /> <br />Dept. was granted 30 days leave of absence without <br />pay. <br /> <br />The committee on garbage conditions made the fOllowin~ <br />report: let, That the gerbage collector must live <br /> <br />up to his contract with the City, <br />2nd, that the Marshal be instructed to arrest offenders <br />in gathering garbage without a permit from the City <br />also to arrest offenders who violate the garbage <br />Ordinance in not using proper retainers for same. <br /> <br />3rd. The Clerk was instructed to advertise a notice <br /> <br /> in the paper to that effect. <br /> <br /> The above wa~ on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly see- <br /> ended by Maryatt and carried, adopted. <br /> <br />In Re On motion of Trustee NoPhee, duly seconded by Naryatt <br /> <br />Committee on Sunday Vaudeville shows and carried, the committee in reference to investigat <br /> lng the protest on Sunday vaudeville shows,was con- <br /> tinued. <br /> <br /> A motion by Trustee Mo?hoe,to adjourn to 4 P.m., <br /> <br /> in the Council Chamber Nay 14th,191S, for the adopt- <br /> ion of bridge plans and specifications, was duly <br /> <br /> seconded by <br />President//of-the Board of Trustees <br /> <br />Trustee Greenleaf and carried. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
