Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by President Vlsel. Present Trustees Tuhbs,MoPhee,Greenleaf,Maryatt Santa Aha, City Hall, Fob.lOth,1919, 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk. In Re Application for Oil Filling Station,let and Main In Re Application for Oil filling etation,Sth and Broadway In Re Application Frank Dolts for license In Re Permit to hang electric sign Cope Electric Co. In Re Offer of Callf.Natl.Bank on deposit of City moneys In Re Liberty Bonds,Orange Co. Savings and Trust Co. In Re Committee report Spotlight factory In the Matter of the application of the Standard Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain an Oil filling station at the Southwest corner of First and Main the same was protested against by the property owners residents and electors of the immediate vicinity. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, that the request be denied, was carried by the followln. vote, Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,McPhee,Greenleaf, Maryatt and Visel, Noes, Trustees None. In the matter of the application of the Standard Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain an oil filling station at the Northeast corner of 5th and Broadway was on motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Tubbs referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbs,~cPhee and Maryatt being appointed as such committee. # The application of Frank Doltz for a license to conduct a second-hand goods store in the 300 Block on East 4th St. was referred to the Police Committee with power to act, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and caxried, The application of the Cope Electric Co. for permission to hang an electric sign in front of their place of business, ~O6 N.$ycamore, same was granted on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, same to be installed under the supervision of the City Electrician and the Ordinance regulating same. L.M.Doyle,Cashier Call~.Natl. Bank submitted the following offer for the City funds for the ensuing year offering to pay 2% per annum on the average daily balano~ and secure the deposes by bonds according to the State law covering ouch deposits. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt, same was ordered received and placed on file. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Clerk was instructed to secure from the Orange Co. Savings & Trust Co. bonds and turn the bank the two $1000, 4th Liberty Loan same Over to the City Treasurer. The committee consisting of trustees Tubbs,McPhee and Greenleaf, appointed at last meeting in reference to the petition of p~Operty owners on East First St.
