Savings <br /> <br />and Trust Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Committee report Spotlight factory <br /> <br /> In the Matter of the application of the Standard Oil <br /> Co. for permission to erect and maintain an Oil filling <br /> station at the Southwest corner of First and Main <br /> the same was protested against by the property owners <br /> residents and electors of the immediate vicinity. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, <br /> that the request be denied, was carried by the followln. <br /> vote, Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,McPhee,Greenleaf, Maryatt <br /> and Visel, Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> In the matter of the application of the Standard Oil <br /> <br /> Co. for permission to erect and maintain an oil filling <br /> station at the Northeast corner of 5th and Broadway <br /> was on motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Tubbs <br /> referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbs,~cPhee and <br /> Maryatt being appointed as such committee. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> The application of Frank Doltz for a license to conduct <br /> a second-hand goods store in the 300 Block on East 4th <br /> St. was referred to the Police Committee with power to <br /> act, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br /> Maryatt and caxried, <br /> <br />The application of the Cope Electric Co. for permission <br />to hang an electric sign in front of their place of <br />business, ~O6 N.$ycamore, same was granted on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br />same to be installed under the supervision of the City <br />Electrician and the Ordinance regulating same. <br /> <br />L.M.Doyle,Cashier Call~.Natl. Bank submitted the <br />following offer for the City funds for the ensuing year <br />offering to pay 2% per annum on the average daily balano~ <br />and secure the deposes by bonds according to the State <br />law covering ouch deposits. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt, <br />same was ordered received and placed on file. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, <br />the Clerk was instructed to secure from the Orange Co. <br /> <br />Savings & Trust Co. <br />bonds and turn the <br /> <br />bank the two $1000, 4th Liberty Loan <br />same Over to the City Treasurer. <br /> <br />The committee consisting of trustees Tubbs,McPhee and <br />Greenleaf, appointed at last meeting in reference to <br />the petition of p~Operty owners on East First St. <br /> <br /> <br />
