376 Board met in 'regular session. Meeting called to order Present, Trustees Tubbe, Absent, Trustee MoPhee. by President Vlsel. Greenleaf, Maryatt Santa Aha, City Hall, Feb. 17th, 1919, and the Clerk. 7:30 p.m. In Re Minutes In Re Orange Co.Trust & Say. Bank offer on deposit of city moneys In Re InterUrban Transfer Co.heering In Re Propo,~au offered by C.I.Bauer of In Re Minutes of Feb. 3rd and lOth read, and minutes of Feb.10th amended in reference to instructions to the Clerk regarding the 4th Liberty Loan Bonds, instructing the Clerk to secure the bonds from the other banks and turn sams into the City Tr · asur er. A communication from the Orange Co. Sav. an offer of 2% on the daily balance of & Trust Bank making the city money was read, and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Maryatt, the communication was ordered placed on file for future reference. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, City Attorney Scott was instructed to attend the Railroad Commission hearing Feb.18th,l~lg, at 1:30 p.m., at 205 Union League Bldg. Los Angeles, in the matter of the application of Isabella Pelton, doing business under the name of the Interurban Transfer Co. # The proposition offered by G.I.Bauer to the City in proposal exchange and settlement of possible claim for damages, was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, the matter was referred to a committee. Trustees Greenleaf and Maryatt and City Attorney Scott being appointed as such committee. The committee appointed at last meeting in reference to Permit Standard Oil Co. ~th and Brosdway In Re Sidewalk Conditions 5th St. between Sycamore & Broadway In Re Committee on Auditorium Site the application of the Standard Oil Co. to erect an oil filling station at the Northeast corner of 5th and Broadway,reported favorable and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the request wa~ granted and City Atty. instructed to prepare the necessarFpapers in reference to sidewalk conditions. On motion cf Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the matter of sidewalk conditions on North side of 5th St. between Broadway and Sycamore St. was referred to a committee. Trustees Maryatt and Gmenleaf, being appointed as such committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by ~reenleaf and carried, the committee appointed at last meeting in referenc~ to securing an auditorium site was continued.
