Boott instructed to notify all public utilities that a~ll sewer, water and gas connections must be installed before pavixg. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, action pertaining to the petition to pave East 5th St. wa~ deferred for one week. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, that in the future the contractor in paving streets is to be held responsible for all sewer, water and gas connec- tions. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs, the request of the petitioners for a swwe~on West Washington Ave. between Parton and Flower Sts. was granted with the proviso that the petitioners be charged One-half of the cost and money deposited with the City before starting work on same. Upon motion of Trustee Oreenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, that a committee be appointed to serve for one year and audit the monthly reports of City officials. Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs were appointed as such committee. The monthly reports of the Fire Chief,City Recorder,Marshal, Sanitary Inspector and Building Inspector were referred to the Auditing Committee, on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on the City Treasurer to cover the demands aa auditor, Ncc. 663 to 920 inclusive. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Clerk was instructed to cancel Warrant No.21g in favor of James O'Brian, for auto rental for Feb.1919. Resolution No.619 a Resolution of the Board of Trustees fixing the compensation of election officers for April 14,1~19, at $6.00, was read, and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman that same be adopted passed by the following vote to-wit: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, Ohapman, Dale, Greenleaf and Mitchell. Noes, None.
