Meeting called to order by the Santa Aha City Hall, July y, 191~, ?;30 p.m. Clerk Present, Trustees Tubbs, Chapm~n, Dale and Greenleaf, Absent, President Nitchell, On motion of Trustee Tubby, duly seconded by Dale and carried, Trustee Greenleaf was appointed President pro tem. Minutes of the meeting~o£ June lbtn, 23rd, 24th and 30th, approved as read. In Re Application C.B.Nickols, Restaurant license The application of C.B. Nickols for a license to conduct a restaurant at 403 E.4th St.,was on motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs,license granted subject to the approval of the Health Department. # In Re The application of the Standard Oil Co. for permission to install Permit Standard Oil Co. two more undergorund gasoline storage tanks at the Southeast corner of 1st and Main Sts. same to comply with the City ~rdinanc~ was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale,permission granted under the supervision of the Fire Chief and Ordinances governing the same. # In Re A statement accompanied by a v.ucher fo~ $201~.00 franchise tax So. Cai.Edison Franchise tax due the city under franchise Ordinance No.2?~. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carrle~, same was referred to a committee for investigation, Trustees Tubb~ Chapman, and City Arty. Scott being appointed am such committee. # President pro rem Greenleaf announced this the date set for In Re Bids for Hay In Re Repairs Band Stand In Re Map showing locations street lights opening bids to furnish the City with 55 Tons of Barley and 25 Tone of alfalfa Hay. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, the Clerk was instructed to proceed to open bids two bids having been received, the Nicholls-Loomis Co. ae follows 25 Tons of ~l horse alfalfa hay at ~23.O0 and ~5 Tone ~1 Barley h at $24.75 per Ton. All delivered F.O.B.oars Santa Ans. The bid of A. Lofgren for 55 Tone of A 1 barley hay $2~.70 per Ton delivered any place within the City. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman the matter was referred to a committee with President pro rem Greenleaf aa Chairman. Trustees Tubbs being appointed to same committee On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the Park Committee was authorized to alter, enlarge and paint the band stand in Birch Park. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman that a request be made on the So.Oalif.Edison Electric Co. to furnish the City with a map giving the location, kind, size of each light used for street purposes.
