Minutes of July 21et and 2~th read and minutes of July 2$th amended in reference to sidewalk conditions on Garneey and Parton Sts. same being referred to a committee consisting of Trustees Dale and Chapman instead of ordered constructed; and in reference to East let paving amended to read City Engineer to give an estimate on the removal and repaying the base of same were needed between Main ~t. and the Santa Fe teac, s. In Re Application R.J.Ea~i Cleaning Establishment Application to hang Electric signs Bond of J.R.Eyman In Re Bond of J.Luxembourger Fire Chief In Re Mlde on City printing and advertising The application of Richard J.Earl for a permit to conduct a cleaning and dyeing establishment at 1225 North Ross St, wu on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried permit granted with the proviso that if more than one gallon of gasoline is kept on the premises must be followed. # The application of J.G.Rohertson Else.Co. for a permit electric signs at 5th and Broadway, St. was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, to the City Electrician with power that the Gasoline Ordinance to re-h~ 105 E.3rd St. and 221 W.~th duly seconded by Dale referr to act. The Bond of J.R.Eyman for $5OO.00 with Henry C.Baaney and Geo.Rosemeyar aa sureties to do private contract cement sidewalk and curbing was on motion of Trustee Tubbe duly seconded by Dale referred to the Chair for approval. The bond cz Jonn LuxemOourger Fire Cnxez for $1OOO.OO with the Fl~eAxty and Deposl~ Co. aa euretlee was on motion of Trustee Tutus, duAy seconded by Dale, referred to t~e C~alr for approval This being the date set for opening bide received for City ad- vertieing and printing the Clerk was instructed to proceed to open the bids received, on motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Dale, the followiqg bide were opened: Register Pub. Co. hid ae follows: for city advertising 60~ per inch for first insertion:and 50~ per inch f~ each consecutive subsequent in- sertion, and Campbell,Lutz & Thompson for City printing the following: Water receipts per 100, 22¢, Order of Deposits per 100 $1.25, City Warrants per 100, Sl.00, Dog Tax Receipts per 100 80¢; letter heads, 12~ Ashland per 10OO,$5.75, postal cards per 500, $1.75, stamped envelopes any size per 500,$1.50, Cost of stock on last two items to he added to prices. ~n motion of Trustee Tubhs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the bid of the Register Pub.Co. for City advertising was ~coepted and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the bid of Campbell,Lutz & Thompson for City printing was accepted. d
