Scott was instructed to prepare necessary ~eee-l-ut~bmm pertaining to paving of Grand and Santa Clara Aves. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, all city employees in the Water and Street Depts. receiving $3.10 and $3.25 per day be increased 15¢per day. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman that the committee for investigating sidewalk and curb conditions on East 16th be increased to a committee of the whole, carried. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, by the following vote, Ayes,Trustees Tubbs, Chapman,Dale, Greenleaf and Mitchell, Noes, Trustees None, the Clerk was instructed to the Street Dept. with one 2 bids to be opened Sept.15th, advertise for bids to furnish Ton Truck and one 2 Ton trailer 1919, at 7;30 p.m. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, by the following vote, Ayes, Trustees,T~bb~,, ~hapman, Dale and Greenleaf, Noes, Trustee Mitchell, it Was decided to immediately buy a Dodge Touring oar for the Police Dept. and a Dodge Roadster for the Fire Dept. The motion of Trustee Greenleaf that a committee be appointed to meet with the Chamber of Commerce and M.& M.Aseociation relative to forming an Industrial District, Trustees Greenleaf and Dale being appointed as such committee.
