In Re Bid for Boilers In Re Width of Sycamore Street In Re Subdivison plat 129 On motion o f Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- man and carried, the Clerk was irs tructed to drew warrants on the Treasurer to cover the demands as aud ired by Finance committee. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded Chapman and carried, the Clerk was instructed to open bids received for furnishin~ the City with ~ tone of rolled barley, also 36 tone of barley and 15 tone of alfalfa hay. One bid being received , that of R. Frank Parker who bid $2.35 per 100 for fu~nishing tone of barley. No hay bide were received. On motio of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the bid of R. Frank Parker was rejected. On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Trustee Tubbs and carried, the Clerk wae l~ruoted to ~pen bi received for furnishing the City with 1752 feet, cast iron pipe. One bid was received, that of the American Cast Iron Pipe Company, who bid as follows: 6" B. 8, S. C I Pipe - 12 feet or 16ft lengths, class "B" A. W. W. A as s~ecified at $1.67 per lineal foot or the same quanti%y 6" ola~s B electric cast iron pipe.either 12" or 16" lengths, guaranteed for ~6 pounce working pressure at $1.62 per lineal foot. On motion of Trustee Chapman, tha~ the bid be taken under advisement and to report at next meeting was duly seconded by Trustee Greenleaf and carried. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Trust ee Tubbe and carried, the Clerk was instructed to open Olds received for furnishing the City with 200 H,P. Boilers, for the Water Plant. Two bids war, opened, Llewellyn Iron Works,S1?,566 for ~-200 H.P. Llewellyn Water Tube Boilers, and Charles Terry who bid $15,OOO for 2-2?0 H.P. Iron Works Co's. Safety Water Tube Boilers. On motion of Trustee Caapman, duly seconded by Trust~ Greenleaf and carried, the bide were taken under ad- visement and to report at next meeting. The motion of Trustee Tuooe, that it is the sense of the Board that Sycamore Street from loth to Weehingt~ Avenue, be 40 feet in width f~om curb to curb, was duly seconded by Trustee Greenleaf amd carried. On motion of Trustee Chapman and carried, the Pla~ 129 a eubdivls.ion # Tubbs, duly seconded by Trustee Board approved Subdivision on West Washington Avenue. n
